Join Me in Supporting Real Change for NYC's Most Vulnerable Persons Experiencing Homelessness

I'm running this year's NYC marathon and raising funds for Homeward NYC, an organization that provides housing and support services to young mothers and their children, LGBTQ young adults, and low-income seniors who are experiencing homelessness. Most of Homeward NYC's residents have survived family violence or rejection.

At its locations across NYC, Homeward NYC's support services include counseling; helping residents access financial and health care benefits; connecting residents to community resources; and providing residents access to group activities and basic life skills development courses.

• $100 can provide one parenting workshop for young mothers led by an expert in early childhood development
• $250 can provide one skills-building workshop led by an expert in pre-employment preparation plus organizational supplies for all participants
• $350 can provide a move-out kit with pots, pans, utensils, cleaning supplies, and personal care items for a young family moving to permanent housing
• $500 can provide one healthy cooking workshop with food and supplies for all participants
• $1,000 can provide one resident a new kitchenette unit with a mini-stove, fridge, sink and cabinet for their Homeward NYC apartment
